Company History

Lance first joined the team at Kerbwell Construction Limited in the year 2000 straight out of high school. With his dedicated work ethic and eye for detail Lance progressed to become manager in 2007. In late 2013 Lance and his wife Lisa purchased the company from the late George Powell and have proudly continued on the Kerbwell name.

The original company Kerbwell Construction Limited was established by George and Beverley Powell in Auckland in October 1996. George began working for the family business Powell and Sons limited in 1962 and learnt the Kerb and Channelling business which at that time consisted of hand boxing, together with laying of footpaths. The first Kerb machine was purchased in 1970 by this company and so began the pioneering of the use of these machines in the greater Wellington area. George also owned Powell Bros Concrete Limited in partnership with his brothers and also Powell Concrete Pumping.
